Development of academic entrepreneurship leading to success of Łódzkie Voivodship

Enhanced competence level of students, scientific staff and doctoral students of Łódź universities in the field of starting-up and running spin-offs, which will be achieved by their participation in a 70-hour cycle of trainings. The knowledge and skills acquired are to contribute to more efficient starting-up and running academic enterprises. Authors of thirty best ideas have received relevant consultation free of charge.

 

Development concept of the Regional Innovation Portal of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship

Provision of this service has been commissioned by the Marshal’s Office in Kielce.
The EEDRI Institute has been selected for implementation of the task that involves development of the document / Development concept of the Regional Innovation Portal of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship/. This task constitutes an element of the Świętokrzyskie RIS Perspectives Project. Contract dated on 4 January 2010.
   
Activities
Performance of an analysis of development assumptions for the Regional Innovation Portal of Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, drafting framework assumptions for the portal, specification of its users and identifying mechanisms of its operations, based on the solutions being “good practices” in nature.

Innovating  Enterprises - Raising the Standard of Staff Training in the Cloth and Textile Industries - TEX PLUS (This project is co-financed by the European Social Fund, and was realized under the supervision of the Polish Regional Development Agency).

 

This is a training project, and is an extension of the LORIS TEX research project – transformation of the cloth and textile industry from a labour-intensive into a science-intensive industry. The main task of TEX PLUS is to support the use of innovation in enterprises. A comprehensive training offer to benefit 350 people has been put forward within the framework of the project. It has been estimated that about 50 enterprises and institutes of the cloth and industry sector will participate in this nation-wide project. The TEX PLUS training project will end in July 2007.

Objectives:
The main objective is to provide 120 adults working in the sectors that are strategic for the Łódź Province with competencies in the area of innovation management by the end of 2010. This objective will be implemented by completing the following specific goals:

  • Improving innovation management qualifications by at least 70% in 120 adults working in the sectors that are strategic for the Łódź Province,
  • Improving qualifications in the area of the creation and effective implementation of innovation-based business strategies by at least 70% in 120 adults working in the sectors that are strategic for the Łódź Province,
  • Improving qualifications in the area of applying for EU financing for the implementation of innovative solutions by at least 70% in 120 adults working in the sectors that are strategic for the Łódź Province,
  • Training 120 adults working in the sectors that are strategic for the Łódź Province in using the SAT tool (Self-Assessment Tool for Innovation Management).
